Many users agree that Finale sacrifices some ease of use in exchange for greater functionality, and that Sibelius sacrifices some functionality in exchange for greater ease of use. I think you will find these comments quite interesting some reinforce the ideas of strengths and weaknesses of Finale and Sibelius, and others expose many cracks in the typical narrative that Finale is clunky and Sibelius is great.
